Yolanda L. Robinson is an Urban Practitioner, Independent Life Coach, Youth Mentor and Empowerment Specialist for Living a Powerful Life, As a life coach, Yolanda coaches people of all ages and is a internet Radio Host along with a YouTube channel that is focused on interviewing everyday people that are making a change in and outside New Jersey. One common phrase will be found when you ask both life long friends and new acquaintances to describe Yolanda. They will tell you she is a “people person” and she understands human behavior. Yolanda works with individual clients, facilitates group sessions, leads workshops, hosts community block parties and is an inspiring speaker.
Yolanda has a BS from Fairleigh Dickerson University in Hospitality. She believes time is precious and by living fully awake and curious, each individual is capable of creating a deeply fulfilling life, grounded in passion and purpose. Yolanda believes strongly in applying a holistic approach to success and works hard to promote balance in all areas of her clients’ lives. Whether it’s business, career, family, intimate relationships, finances or personal satisfaction, Yolanda motivates clients to see the big picture, create a vision, overcome obstacles and define a realistic plan to begin living a powerful life they love.
Yolanda is a strong believer in life-long learning. Her vast experience and diverse training makes it relatively effortless. Yolanda has over ten years experience as an Empowerment Specialist and Life Coach. She created, hosted and produced an Empowerment oriented TV talk show in her home from 2005 through 2007. Additionally, she’s hosted her own Empowerment Workshops from 2005 until today. Yolanda is the author and CEO of Living A Powerful Life Inc./In Her-Shoes, which has provided a wide range of services to the community since 2002. She continues to produce her daily broadcast of Empowerment for the Soul on WIMG 1300AM. Yolanda is energetic, informative and candid. Her quick witted sense of humor, earned her the title: “The Empowerment Queen of Motivation”. Her phrase, “Don’t Be Bitter, Be Better” has come to be known as “Yolandaisms”.
